MB3D with a little post work in PS. You can see some dirty pixels at the top right corner of the fractal and these were inside the image as well making me crazy ( little bastards ).

I tried to render this again with much more clarity but the render time was 7+ hours

and I was not having that.

This artifact resonates with a strange energy, it was found deep within an ancient ruin.

As we began to leave the area from where this artifact was found it began to glow in frequently changing colors. So far no ill fate has befallen us so we move on.
